I am a DJ/Producer/Promoter and Musician named Bobby Beige from UK
living in Amsterdam now for 4 years,i have been DJing and producing
music professionally since 1992 on various labels.
Over the years I have collected many wonderful pieces of vinyl and this is
my preferred format still to this day.you can’t beat holding and looking at
that wonderful black magic plastic
I have released six albums and various 12" over the years on labels like
Pork Recordings/Different Drummer/Concrete etc under the names
Opik,Bullitnuts Horsemilk,Deep Six and Momma Gravy.I also worked
alongside my great friends back home Fila Brazillia and Baby Mammoth for
Pork Recordings for 10 years+.
This included in myself doing a lot of remix work for the likes of Natacha
Atlas,Tosca,Blue States,Jimpster,Superstars of Rock to name but a few.
I have done a DJ mix for the Fabric CD series of the club night in
London(Fabric 18) and am resident DJ at one of the best boutique festivals
in Europe The Garden Festival and bar in Croatia every summer since
2004,I spend 3 months DJing in Croatia during the summer.
I also have been Resident DJ in many clubs and bars over the years, in my
home town Hull and in Croatia and played all over the World ,I played
alongside many of the top DJ's in the game including Norman Jay,Mr
Scruff,Slam,David Holmes,Rob Da Bank,Giles Peterson,Futureboogie,Mark
E,Lindstrom,Rub n Tug,Ashley Beedle,The Idjut Boys,Harvey,a few people i
have played alongside there is many many more.
I also run a night in Amsterdam called "Melting Point' most of which we
have held at De Niuewe Anita which is going very well and we have a
great crowd of nice music loving people,we want to expand our event and
have it in different locations with an array of different DJ talent, guests
and possible live acts.
I play a very eclectic mix of warm heartfelt music from the Soul weather it
be in a bar,club or festival.
